Welcome to my homepage!
I am a PhD student of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Vermont. I'm advised by Prof. Byung Lee and co-advised by Prof. Matthew Bovee. My research interests focus on data stream query processing and data stream mining. Data stream processing systems are used in many applications including stock tickers in financial services, link statistics in networking, sensor readings in environmental monitoring, and surveillance data in Homeland Security, to name a few. I'm particularly interested in developing models and algorithms for improving performance and scalability of such systems.
I completed my undergraduate degree from Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam and my master degree in mathematics from Ohio University.
