The Technical Committee on Intelligent Informatics (TCII) of the IEEE Computer Society deals with tools and systems using cognitive and intelligent paradigms such as knowledge engineering, artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, evolutionary computing, and rough sets, with research and applications in data mining, Web intelligence, intelligent agent technology, parallel and distributed information processing, and virtual reality. The TCII (co-)sponsors the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM), the IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence, the IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Intelligence Agent Technology (IAT), and the IEEE International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence (ICTAI).

These three conferences will be jointly held in Hong Kong, China, on 18-22 December 2006.
